1st orientation day!

Today was my first orientation day. I was late. 10.00am start but reached there at 10:30am. Stupid jam. Then, waited for Farah, she took the wrong turn & heading to Kajang. Haha. We both reached the hall at 11.00am sharp. The people on the stage, talked & talked & talked & talked. I heard the phrase "Welcome to UCSI!" at least 20 times in 3 hours. Can simply die man.. But lucky that student affairs president was cute though.. from Chicago, woke me up from other same old speeches, but my ass really hurt man. Sit so long. Most of the students there today are mostly super freshies.. all just grad from high school or A-levels & all, so they look super young, I'm not trying to say I'm old (haha, very funny.. Farah's older than me tho.. hehe) but we looked like old chiqs sitting there, listening to all the VPs talking. I was so bored, observing around, there were parents there too.. hahah sleeping on their chairs man.. beh tahan..~
Aiyo, how leh? 6 subjects! Everyday class man. Travel there everyday meh?! Not full day la.. but still gotta be there everyday.. Kanasaii!! No difference with work leh.

Did some comparison though -
UCSI
- Everything bout them is E this & E that. You can choose or drop your subjects online.
- Own student email
- Online forum & discussion with your lecturers.
- Everything more advanced & organized.
- Lecturers are experienced & labs are all fully equiped.
- Whole campus = broadband.
Limkokwing
- Internet 3 out of 5 days not working or super slow
- Computer labs locked. Duno pay resources fees 1k for what.
- Find lecturers? Early booking. If not, they won't see you.
- Even you want to pay your fees, they send you from bursary to staffroom to registry then back to bursary again. Receipt also must wait for them to write & it looked like Seafood Restaurant long long long receipt but with a black bird.
- Registration or drop subjects. PLEASE queue up for 2 days.
- Lecturers? Fresh grad from diploma also can be your design co-ordinator.
- Whole campus? Look unfinished & BLACK!!

It's not that I'm starting my studies at UCSI then I'm bad-mouthing limkokwing or anything ok. No offense. But if you pay for my whole degree fees to study back at limkokwing, I rather stuck with only diploma for the rest of my life. Appearance is like.. "Wahh.. Limkokwing wor.. Cool.. High achievements" Behind the curtain.."My foot larr!! the bloody sucking uni. Go for intern 4 months also have to pay uni 8k. WTF?!?" The 8k issue, I heard from my juniors. And another thing is.. those who studied before at limkokwing, definitely wouldn't want to go back to limkokwing again. I've got statistics to prove it man.. Haha..

This Friday quit job. Next Tuesday start class!!! What the hell!!?!??!

found her picture

1. the old hag Cixi sitting down doing ntg. 2. a potrait of her with her full official name

old hag + her sons' other concubines
Got more pictures but lazy to upload. More pics to see, just click the Empress Dowager under my Something Else category. Duno how real it is. If she really was the Empress Dowager Cixi, then she wasn't that super beauty as how the book described she was. Unless when she's young. Maybe. But I really don't even want to get a glimpse of her during the night. She'll probably send me a free ticket to hell. SHucKkss..!!!

a bitch to KILL

Yesterday was Jusco JCard member day. Was planning to get some new stationary stuff for coming classes. Expectedly it was super jam, but fortunately I get to find a parking. Anyway, the whole Jusco was so filled with people. At first I thought the sales was only in the Jusco Dept Store, who knows it was all over Jusco. Even retailers also. They were like checking your Jcards, if you don't have one, you can't enter the stores.

Ok. Anyway Jusco sales is not the main thing in my blog today. Well, besides stationary, I was planning to buy a make-up remover. The Bodyshop's can't remove waterproof mascara, so I gotta get another.
Went to Clinique. Was introduced by this heavily make-up, eye shadow in bright cyan with blue eyeliner bitch-in-her-late-30s. From the moment that bitch talked to me, probably she look at me as if I'm some cheapo who will ask a lot then won't buy. Her colleague can recognised me because I bought a full set of facial products from her but she was busy to entertain me. Fine. 4 kinds. 2 cream lotion remover & 2 liquid remover. Eye & lip remover is different from face. I didn't know. Duh. Anyway, I just asked her on the expiry & other necessary questions that you need to know before you purchase the product. 75 bucks for a small narrow bottle. In Guardian, you can get a Maybelline or Loreal's in only less than 25 bucks. Obviously I ought to know more about it, the differences & all. Despite the noise, the crowd, it was actually quite hard to get her words right & into my head. I was so pissed at her because of the last bloody sentence she said.

Last scene.. The conversation was in Mandarin.
Me : Are you sure it can remove even waterproof mascara? It's not even oil-based. Previous products I bought couldn't. Just making sure.
Bitch : "Miss, I think from just now I'm explaining to you till now, I don't think you listened nor you understand. I explained until my mouth also dry already...bla bla bla......"

Bloody bitch. Is this how you serve your customers? Asshole. I seriously don't want to make a scene. I still want to go Jusco ok. :P Anyway, I just told her I wanted that product. She gave me the tag & receipt, and to collect my purchase after I've paid. I took the receipt, threw it away & went off to Guardian & bought a Loreal's.
BITCH.

small penis lead to death

‘Small penis’ leads to boy’s suicide
HE WAS a second-year student at a top junior college, a member of the school volleyball team, a cheerful and energetic boy who was doing well enough in his studies to take Special Papers.

Yet on March 3 this year, the 18-year-old jumped to his death from a Bedok housing block, because he was convinced his private parts were too small. Delivering a verdict of suicide on Tuesday, State Coroner Tan Boon Heng was sufficiently concerned by this “tragedy of misinformation” to recommend that the case be forwarded to the Ministry of Education (MOE).
“The importance of sex education to our young people in schools cannot be over-emphasised,” he wrote.
“The case study is useful for relevant MOE officers to appreciate the problem of the severity of misinformation even among the best and brightest in our schools.”

The boy, who cannot be named, had confided in his mother in October last year that he was worried his penis was too small. She took him to a neighbourhood clinic, where the doctor told him his penis was of a normal size for an Asian man, and prescribed him multivitamins. Despite strong emotional support from his girlfriend and his mother, he remained convinced he had a problem. He also had a history of being stressed over schoolwork.

In January, he told his mother that his life was “boring and meaningless” and that the only thing stopping him from suicide was his family's love. On March 3, after his usual volleyball practice, he took a bus from school to the Bedok interchange, but did not take his usual connecting bus home. When his sister sent him a text message at around 7pm to ask if he was coming home for dinner, he replied that he would eat out.
The next and final message she received from him was at 8pm, telling her and their mother to take care.
They realised something was wrong, but he repeatedly failed to answer his phone.

He jumped from a housing block near the Bedok bus interchange at around 8.30pm.
He was semi-conscious when he was taken to Changi General Hospital, but was pronounced dead at 10.40pm from multiple injuries.

Super sad case man, I think. Poor guy. What makes him think his 'kuku' is smaller than the rest of the guys? Sigh..
Seriously guys, do size really matter??

women are like grass, born to be stepped on

Anyone watched 'The Last Emperor' before? Aiyo. I want to watch le. I think I watched the ending half when I was in my last semester in limkokwing. But couldn't concentrate well because of some really big blacks sitting in from of me. The massive curly hair covered half of my view. Can't remember the show too, but I like watching stuff on something like China culture or any countries cultures, myth, legend etc etc. Call me a boring girl but I just feel that it's interesting in a way to learn & to find out more about the olden days' life. I used to be really fond of watching those tv series on how those empress bully & torture the princesses or whoever they hate. Seeing who will win at last, capturing the horny emperor's heart to get his 'dragon seeds'. I'm so cruel. Haha.
I bought a book 'Empress Orchid' by Anchee Min months ago. In the book based on years of research that included documents Min smuggled from the Forbidden City, Empress Orchid tells the story of Tzu Hsi, China's longest-reigning female ruler and its last Empress. For decades Chinese schoolchildren have been taught that Empress Orchid was "a mastermind of pure evil and intrigue," but Min presents a strong-willed, utterly compelling woman who used her beauty to become a concubine of the Emperor and her brains to become his confidante and lover.

- versions of the book cover. I bought the 2nd version because that's the only one I saw & can find -
In the 1850s, when Orchid and her family make their way to Peking, the opium trade with Europe and peasant rebellions are chiseling away at the power of the Chi'ing Dynasty. Emperor Hsien Feng, a frail young man overwhelmed by the demands of state, must choose his Empress and concubines. Orchid is the daughter of an aristocratic but impoverished family. With an empty belly and chilled bones, she dreams of an easy life within the walls of the Forbidden City. Orchid enters the Emperor's "contest," open to all women of full Manchu blood. To her surprise, she is chosen as a low-ranking concubine.
Life in the Forbidden City is hierarchical, highly structured, full of suffocating tradition and endless waiting — Orchid must wear formal dress and makeup every day, in case the Emperor should call. For months she sits in her palace waiting for the call. When she finally wins the Emperor's attention, after scheming with her trusted eunuch, she becomes the target of thousands of other women trying just as hard to claw their way into his presence. Bribery, betrayal, even murder are the weapons used. When, in failing health, the Emperor requests Orchid's help with affairs of state, his advisers resist her at every turn and eventually plot to have her buried alive.
In 1856 Orchid gives birth to the Emperor's only son, Tung Chih, and in 1861, in the Emperor's official decree after his death, she is named Empress Dowager at the tender age of twenty-six and inherits an empire on the verge of collapse. Min deftly describes Orchid's power struggles and the defiance she encounters from the Emperor's board of regents, whose only expectation of a woman is compliance. She and her son are kidnapped and the British destroy Peking, but Orchid is able to defeat the regents and create her own government, which will rule for forty-six years.
Chinese tradition teaches that "women are like grass, born to be stepped on". Anchee Min has made it her life's work to overturn this tradition. In Empress Orchid the woman she portrays is totally at odds with history's rendering. This book, I think Min shows Orchid to be a passionate woman, a loving mother, and a pioneer of reform — a woman as vibrant and tormented as China itself.
It's a nice book. I'm quite a book freak. Bought a lot of books in the past since small. From Sailormoon Comics, Enid Byton, RL Stine, Charles Dickens, magazines, etc etc. Thanks to my mom.. some of it she passed it on to charity, little cousins & also some rubbish bins. She didn't tell me until I found out years later. Her own stack of sweet romantic novels from decades ago, she keep nice nice in her drawer. Argh. The new books I bought recently is all locked up in my room. Halfway through Da Vinci Code. My wishlist recently besides getting rich (hehe), is also to collect the whole wicked set of whatever that has to do with Da Vinci Code. Hoping now la.. but don't know will it come true a not. *fingers crossed*

a bad day start

Hate it today. Was disturbed by a little boy’s phone call around 7.25am saying he’s devastated with his incomplete work. So decided to get up early, reach office early to help him sort his things out. While I was changing & preparing myself, the traffic girl was like reporting, from Klang Town to Federal Highway, there was a massive jam caused by a huge lorry overturned & blocked the traffic-flow. Well, typical Malaysians who basically are all khey-poh-chis, slowed down their vehicles from the opposite road to see what the hell went wrong or probably some China-Bengs wanna see the car number plate to buy 4D numbers. Don’t you have anything more important to do then looking at the victims & not helping yet tittle-tattle about it later? I mean they just wan to SEE, it’s not like they wanna HELP. Cheapos.

On the other hand, I thought it wouldn’t bring any difficulty to me as I use Kesas Highway to work daily. Who knows from the Teluk Pulai KTM station overhead bridge, it started to jam all the way to the main road. So I took another alternative route through Taman Gembira/Port Klang. Then again, normally without the jam, the route will take just 15 minutes to reach Kesas but today it bloody took me an hour & 15minutes. And I finished this month’s Cleo magazine in the car. Damn man. Time wasted just like that. And that bloody tudung Unser aunty in front of my car, keep letting people overtake her, stopped at the junction so that the cars from the left can just drove passed her way too smoothly. I almost got down from my car & shrieked to her that this is not the bloody time to do charity. The whole route that I took, I gotta passed 3 traffic-light junctions with traffic cops waving & 'dancing' in the middle with their 'cool' uniform. Normally it was okay, but today was an exceptional case. There was this traffic cop on his way-too-huge motorcycle, from the 1st junction I saw him stopping by & chit chatting with the dancing cop standing there, then he moved on to the other junction which I saw him there laughing at some shits again, then at the 3rd junction, I bloody saw him again. Wahlau.. So free ha.. the traffic was already like shit but he was like so super carefree, chitchat with his fellow-mates like it's gonna be the last hour of his life. Damn damn damn. Crappers.

At that moment something the traffic girl reported that caught my attention, “Those of you from Klang Town, if you’re still at home, please do not leave your house. At least for the time being.” Then I realized the jam was really gonna take forever. I was so sorry for Paul because I knew he was so fully stressed-out & that he did not sleep the whole night to complete the layout plans. He must really be hysterical if boss nag at him again.

Finally when I was on my way to office on Kesas, my phone rang. Private Number. Who else? Sighh.. after hours of jam & frustration, listening him asking me this question, “Where are you? What time issit now?” Awww.. DAmnit man. Left home at 8am (normally 8.30am), reached office at 9.30am (when office hours start at 9am). I was bloody early this morning but end up the last person. Hate it when you try to make an effort but finished up with nothing BUT caked with shits.

this 1 monday sarks

Why the hell did the weekends passed so fast? Seriously.. everything now is like making me so no mood & restless. I'm back in the office, not knowing what's gonna happen next. I mean, at least give me a clue, then I won't be so 'bodoh bodoh' sitting here, preparing for some big water balloon to land on my head soon. Bing Bong splasshhh!!! Sheeshh.. gimme a clue somebodyy!!! Feels pretty cacated bout this. Boss just walked in the studio minutes ago & in seconds he walked out again. His expression? Totally indescribable. Why? How the hell would I know? Shitsz.
Since this morning, when I woke up, I really got this bad bad feeling about whatever that may gonna happen today, I simply forgot a lot of things today. Maybe I'm thinking too much, being naive & negative & all, but I couldn't help it.
* I feel like I'm an intruder, uninvited guest sitting here.
Awww damn.. this sucks. I really hate grumbling early Monday morning.

i'm so SO hungryy..

Bored. Nothing to do. Worried. Anxious. HUNGGRYYY!!!!!!

you must be kidding me!!!!
Crispy bacon, smoked Provolone, grilled onions and our signature Jack Daniel's® sauce. It's the biggest step in burger evolution.

A warm brownie covered in Ghirardelli® chocolate-fudge sauce, vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce & pecans. UGhhhh!!~

Sheesshhh.. Looking at Cass's chicken rice, really reminds me of FOOD! !

TGIF or CHILLIS? Ate Chillis months ago. TGIF? Last year. Hmm.. just now Paul say the food looked dangerously good. ManYee said PK jor.. But still.. ahhaha can see her saliva dripping invisibly.. So probably hitting TGIF tomorrow.. Cheerss... *finger crossed*

kena ffk big time ! ! ~

Today is really restless. Expecting something dramatic to happen but nothing. Seriously nothing. Not a loud bump or a soft crack. Damn. It's not I hope that something horrifying might happen but I was expecting it like how he told me it will be or might be. It's good in a way that nothing bad happen, no fight, no quarrels, no-competing-whose-voice-is-louder, BUT THE FEELING IS LIKE KENA FFK larr.. It's really getting hectic in here. Fearing of an unknown time-bomb that might exploded anytime soon. An hour plus till off working hours. Do you think I can make it? I wish I can. Just got to hear another 'shocking' news, but still it'll just going to happen anyway.. just the matter of time. Didn't expect so soon. But still..
Ok. End of the sad shit. I did some thinking yesterday. Was reading Da Vinci Code halfway & ter-doze off. Haha. It's not that the book is boring or anything. It's really good. But I was way too tired. Was at pyramid after work yesterday, eat sushi, wanna go topshop to spend off my 25 bucks voucher.. but couldn't find shit to buy.
Anyway I just received a phonecall, n it made me so bloody no mood to continue this blog. Till tomorrow people.
See ya.
