I just came back from Nat's hen night.

Well, another friend entered a new phase of life...
MARRIED LIFE!!!

*beams* Congrats to Natasha & Boon Way.
Boon Way is my high school senior.
Nat is my friend since primary school.
10 fingers also not enough to count how long we have been friends.

Eight years!! Holy cow...
A relationship for 8 years... and tying their knot now...
Cool. I really wonder how these people can "pak toh" for soooo long... Keng.

These pix were all taken last Friday.
Her wedding dinner (the bride's side) was at Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam.
The dinner food... ALL VEGETARIAN.
I was pretty excited to go... 'cos I've never been to a ALL-VEGAN wedding dinner before.
Not bad. An experience to taste.

Well, tomorrow will be 出嫁 "marry-away" day.. 8 of us will be her 姐妹 "ji-muis"..
Already got all the props ready for the door games tomorrow. Hehe.

Dinner was nice.
It was like a mini reunion with my high school juniors.
'cos Nat's younger sister was from my high school too..
hence, she invited her classmates too.. hehe..
MHS Klang ain't a big school... only 280+ student from Form 1-5..
So... back then.. it was like.. everybody know everybody in school.
Every tiny dirty gossip will travel to each and every mouth.. *exaggerates* LOL!

Then again... another story was... camwhores will still be camwhores!!

I have not been slacking for sometime d.
So tired lately. Buzzing here and there.. Sigh.

Went dinner with Priscilla and Bernadine after work today.
Berny suggested Marmalade Cafe at Plaza Mont Kiara.
I love it.

We had such a great time crapping, doing some catching-up, laughing n dining of course..
Been ages (approx 1 month?) I din see her spanky face.
Guessed I must have missed her more than I thought. *lesbo-faced*
Hehe.

Anyway, I have always love Marmalade Cafe.
Love the interior, love the concept, love their desserts n scones n cupcakes n crumbles..
But I have never.. dine in before. Serious.
Never been to this outlet, except the one in Bangsar Village 2.
Never knew it existed here anyway. *grins*

It was indeed a good comfortable place to dine in n have decent conversation.
Why did I mention "decent" was...
The whole restaurant was not more than 10 people excluding the staff.
Possibly 'cos it was already off office-hours.. so hence it was pretty quiet..
And you know... with me and Berny around.. now lagi with Priscilla..
how can we sit together n shutting ourselves up.. err err...
or eating without sudden-loud laughter and giggles.. *rolled eyes* haahhaa..

Berny decided on the food orders while me n Priscilla were spacing out.
I was busy looking at the colourful n vibrant whimsical images on feature walls..
Observing what other people were eating.. and keeping up with hot topics on our table.
Nice plates, right? So homey.

We shared 3 dishes altogether.
Started of with a superb cheerful tummy warmers.. Salmon Avocado Frittata.
As cheerful as it looked, as cheerful as it tasted. Yum.
Up next, fettuccine in light carbonara gravy with pine nuts n various mushrooms.
Their version was much more better than Delicious, for my liking..

I really couldn't recall this dish. Well, I know it was chicken burger with fries...
Forgotten the real name d. Besides... I only glanced through the menu a few seconds.
Gotta ask Berny.. hehe.. The chicken patty was thick!! and very good.
Very unlike fastfood patties or TGIF's chicken breast... it was really nice.

Lastly, our sweet treat. Apple Crumble. It was bloody hell huge.
It was yummy but toooo sweet for my liking..
We couldn't even finish it. *laughs*

Oh well, I heard that this Marmalade Cafe was pretty much a great place to hang out..
If you have kids, this cafe is quite a "child-friendly" with its play area..
you can eat in the cafe and let the kids to draw whatever they like..
Once their masterpiece are done, the staff will display them on the glass panels.

Bought the black one though.. only dress ok. Leggings are mine.

Was supposed to post up bout my great homemade lunch this afternoon.
But.. got kinda busy with some school stuff..
So.. lemme put this pix up first...
then will "upgrade" it with more pix and.. maybe words, tomorrow or something..

This was taken on the last day before exhibition+moderation.
After all our crit was done, we did some upgrade with our boards and drawings..
Pinned up again for some outsider people or internal panels to do our final marking.
So this is me.. with my final 10 A1 presentation boards and incomplete model. *grimaces*

I looked kinda grim here huh?
Hahhaa.. no idea whyy...
I looked worst now. Need to sleep.

let's steam a boat

Left office slightly late yesterday.
And I hate to go back to Klang just after working hours 'cos it will simply be jammed up..
Due to the stupid slow pigs fiddling with the blooody Klang bridge construction...
Really slow slow slow coaches working..
Work only in mornings and afternoons when the sun burnt their ass off...
so literally they worked slow...
And at night.. not one to be seen... go home and watch astro...
I was like swearing everytime I have to pass that damn bridge..
No matter what time of the day.. it bloody JAMMED!!! mayb not after 12am..

Okay.. enough of these irking complaints. Darn!! Grrr.. Pissed..
I mean... I can leave office at 6.30pm.. reached Klang Toll by 7.10pm...
but reached home after 8pm... it's like.. Wtf!~ *grunts*
Alright.. enough!!!! *taking long yoga-style-breath*

I went dinner with Priscilla after work.
Not knowing where to go or what to eat...
We ended up at Hartamas Shopping Center (Plaza Damas) again...
She suggested either we go for Jap or Steamboat..
I chose steamboat then... off we went to Eric's.

I've been to Eric Deli Paradise before for lunch...
never tried their steamboat before.. so well, trying to experience it a bit lor..
knowing it will be like.. DUH pricey.. haha..

Since only both of us, we order the smallest steamboat set.. for 2-3 pax..
68 bucks for 2.. adding those "plus-plus" and our "poh-lei" tea..
the bill came up till 82bucks.. hmm...

Starting of with the appetizer-of-the-night..
Seems different from time to time.. but it was always peanuts...
Peanut this.. or peanut that... peanutnutnut..

(above) Fresh Salmon Sashimi.. 4 pieces.
(below) Assorted "balls", etc etc...
Somehow i find it a bit weird to steamboat raw chicken wings..
AHhahaha.. thick fattening skin lar.... I'll choose "Pak Cham Kai" anytime..

(above) The so-called HongKong Yee Mee....
which i find it no difference than our local YeeMee.. hehe
(below) We got Superior Soup and their recommendation of "Ma-La" soup.
Superior soup was not bad... Tat crazy "Ma-La" was really bloody spicy..
Damn pedas.. and worst.. OILY. Regret. Should hav ordered the tomyam.
Or maybe i'm not quite a "Ma-La" fan.. *shrugs*

And yes.. me and Pris bought the same white basket-bag together.
So we both have the same bag with the same color..then we go pasar together.. LOL

Well.. everything was good.
Mayb the food was just okay.. but definitely "special" than those normal steamboats..
What abnormal was that.. the price lor!!!!

I don't mind to be back for 2nd visit or 3rd.. but not that often..
I won't complain much to have my steamboat in a quiet and a/cond atmosphere..
Better off with great companion. But it was really quite pricey.
Once int a blue moon ok.. if not.. sighhh.. tragedy..
later instead of getting my tummy filled with soup..
my bank account will be all souped out.. hahahaha lame joke

Then again, that area, that neighbourhood, that people, that status..
Sigh.

We went to Sony's. I wanted to check out a SE phone. Particularly c902.
So we went together. As in she teman me.

When I was making some inquiries on one of the phones that caught my attention...
but sadly the price did not.. quite dearly.. *grim*
or should I get Nokia N66?? I like that white version... sizzling hawt.
Hehe.

Anyway.. I heard her talking to another sales person..

She: "Ada Nokia telefon tak sini?"
Him: Takda.. sini semua hanya barang-barang Sony.
She: "OH??... ermm.. kenapa takda ya??" *looks around*
Him: *forcing to smile politely*
She: "LG ada?"
Him: Takda miss.. sini sony saja.. takda brand lain..
She: "Then... Samsung? Motorola?"
Him: Takda miss.
She: *puzzled and walks off*

She came over to me, taps on my shoulder a little bit too hard...
and whispered... "Sucks la here.. what also don't have... only Sony sony sony.."
I rolled my eyes a bit tooooo hard and told her..
"Walk outside and look at the label on top of your head.."
She lagi replied to me that.."So? Put other brands in can die ar?"
"Alright then.. walk to my left and knock on the wall till ur head bleeds.."
Guess what.. she smacked my ass. Wtf. In public. ARghh!!

Difficult la this charboh.
Oh well. She's still my friend. Love her dearly. Sometimes.

What we have to do was like entirely so simple...

choose any cafe or restaurants that you have been there from the listing sidebar...
punch-in a few rating stars, submit your own wonderful reviews..
Good or bad reviews are widely welcome..
Take this chance to speak your heart out...

Well you know..
sometimes when we "complained" something in the cafe to the person-in-charge..
or even fill in their rating and review form..
some they will just "Yes yes... we will blah blah blah.." for our temporary satisfaction..
and we don't see any difference on our next visit.. *rolled eyes* Duh
