Nice right? It's in Istanbul, Turkey. Hmmm...

weird buildings - part 1 -

"Hey Welcome!!" says Mamma Potts.

I came across these weird /special/ extraordinary buildings online.
Pretty outta the mind actually.. hehehe
So just posting some up here to share with you guys if you never seen these before.

Anyway... Mamma Potts (my creation nick for this lady in pink) real name is..
Mammy’s Cupboard which is located Natchez, MS, United States.
Very very novelty look huh? hehhehe.. once u see.. u know what's inside.
A novelty architecture restaurant by the roadside definitely catch our eyes.
Konon since 1940... or based on 1940 times... not sure which.. hehe..

This is The Torre Galatea Figueras at Spain.
If not mistaken... it's by Salvador Dali. Sure you've heard bout him right??
The surreal world of Salvador Dali??? His art??
So apparently this tower was named after his wife, Gala.
It is an annex of his theater or museum.
Started of from an old building with a tower that he purchased after Gala's death...
sort of act as an extension to his museum.
Touching touching.. Yeah.. and he died here. *saddening*
I just wondering.. why eggs on the roof??
Oh alright.. mayb not eggs.. some artistic items that I really find it hard to comprehend.

Hotel Azucar..another paradise

Came across these pix online..
Not bad huh?

It's a boutique hotel in Mexico.
Along Mexico´s Costa Esmeralda, near the small community of Monte Gordo, Veracruz.
Azucar, an intimate white-walled minimalist retreat that blends perfectly with its natural lush tropical surroundings.
So soothingly beautiful. Hmmmmm...

I opt for this open-air library. Hehe.
Nice just chilling there with fresh air, blue sky, green green grass..
reading a good book, having the peace in you. Sighh...

As how noted how the Mexican architects that designed this hotel, Azucar pays huge tribute to the people of Veracruz – colorful, cheerful “Jarochos” and their traditional passionate about their music, culture and history. *sobs* So meaningful ler. I want to go.

Outdoor shower "rooms".. hahha. *playful winks*
So kampung feel yet so serene..
is that word even suitable to use here? ahhahah no idea.

I opt for the pool or beach palapas too.
A serene and peaceful atmosphere is guaranteed.
Long walks may be enjoyed through their beautiful gardens or extensive beaches. Sky is really blueeeeee...

The rooms are very simple.
Somehow reminds me of Flintstones' cave. Hehe.
Just white white and a few timber furnitures..
And that's bout it. Guess you'll explore most of the areas in this hotel..
just back to your room to crash & wait for next morning. Heheh.

*shrieks* Twenty spacious bungalows. Twenty!!
Used to be sugar mills if not mistaken, are accented with colors!!
And regional materials such as red cedar, palm thatch and stones.
Very casual and sensual I find them. Complete intimacy feel.

If one day I'm rich.. and I still remember this hotel.
I will come.
I think.

Yes I think I will come.
At least let me dream okay.. aijerrr..

2 showhouses and 1 kinda-a-lil-too-big sales office..

Never ending "opinions" from the client..
Suka-suka tukar.. suka-suka sumbat.. suka-suka hack..
Well well.. guess this is what my field is all about... Amendments!!
Anyway not that I'm complaining.. used to it d.. *weak grin*
just wonder how so very indecisive that fella can be..

Well, I hope all can turned out good.
If he hadn't change a thing.. stick to our original proposals.. *grunts*
it will definitely be hella good..
But alas, *fingers crossed* everything must go all well and good..

Why it is called PJ Hilton's Train Project because...
- they gave us 25k to build this thing up??...
which i think ended up all our effort and hard work worth much more than that.
- because it is to "exhibit" at PJ Hilton's lobby??...
- they din even give a damn to us on that day. Heartless.

Very busy lately with work and model-makings and all.
Will be in PJ Hilton everyday working on the Christmas Train Project for charity.

This train project will be launched on this coming Saturday at 10am.
