I'm a "star" with no "bucks"...

Stresss!!
Very stress indeed.
Shucks.... 2AM d... Kanasai-nyaa.....

When I walked in Starbucks at Centro, Klang..
I love Centro's Starbucks.. very quiet, peaceful and good looking polite people..
Today. they greeted me with "Welcome back.."
Oh gosh.. I must have been there more than I thought..
Which was true in a way that I've been there a lot lately..
Arghh~ I brought my laptop there... books.. sketches.. and worked few hours there a day..
I can't do work at home cos there are too many distractions..
Trust me.. there ARE distractions.. and they are not my bed, not my tv.. but.. people...
Ok. I'm not gonna start that.

Cut things short.. cos I have to rush back to my craps works..
I love Starbucks.. I really love themm... No GloriaJeans, or CoffeeBean.. or SansFran..
if not I wont be there like DAILY except weekends.. *grins*
But no idea why my face look soooo "troubled"...
Stress leh.. sigh.. S-T-R-E-S-S!!

Saw that? HAhahhaa..
Stress till PEI... *sulks*

pengsan...

i start to smell freedom.... but i scared

it's gonna "contradict"

Went school for submission and a short tutorial today.
Met back old collmate who is working in my dept now as a lecturer.
Small world huh?

Back in Klang.. Starbucks again. *grins*
My laptop is like 24/7 with me.
I cant do much work at home with never-ending "naggings".
YvonneHelmet was there already.
As usual "friendly" grumble here n there for me being late..
*whispers* like as if from Cheras back to Klang no jam at all...

Haven had my lunch.
Had CALM Tazo tea... not calming enough.. 'cos I'm still pretty tensed up. *frowns*
Ate mushroom cheese muffin. Love it.
Of all the food in Starbucks, I love their english muffins the most.
Cheesecakes are great too.. but just it's very sinful to makan cheese ok.

It is really good ok. 4 bucks fifty for one.
Taste better than burgers... and healthier I suppose.
Hehe..

My granduncle passed away two nights ago. Mom's side.
I only seen him like less than 5 times my whole life.
I do feel sad in a way 'cos life is so unpredictable.
The last time I saw him during CNY this year.
He was up and walking and yes... fagging..
*grim*

So everyone went down. An hour ride.
Only me alone. Lonely-nya.
Bought a packed salad-bowl from Jusco for dinner.
No idea to eat what. SIen.

Comparing to what I had last nite.
Hawaiian Supreme Crunchy Crust Pizza with my sister.
Enough of carbo food d.

Alright. Won't be uploading anything maybe until Friday.
So.... make yourself happy ya. *hugs*

By the way, I bought a new bag today.
It's black from MNG. Yummy.

back to work. fuck

*gasps* i toot-toot the whole day

Okay. Let's rewind back.
I was M.I.A for days weeks ago.
Was busy with stuff and also this exhibition.

Interiors Malaysia 2008 held at PWTC, from 29May to 1June.
Baizura (lecturer) signed 15 of us up for this Interiors Student Workshop on the 31st. And Tess, Eng and my works were pinned up for Young Talents' Competition. So, tak boleh tak pergi lor.. Later kena bang.

Anyway, I didn't want to drive up to PWTC. No mood.
We have to be there the whole day. From 10am - 5pm.
Have to wait till they announce the competition winners and all..
Driving up there, I guess would be rather jammed up and expensive for parking.
So I took KTM. Klang to Putra. Almost 1.5 hours. I had to wake up by 7.30am. Darn.
Tess waited for me at Putra station where she stumbled across from Kepong.

We reached slightly after 9.20am I think.
Hanging around, eating lousy tasteless sandwiches that cost 4 bucks.
Waste of money.

Workshop started by 10am plus.
10 different universities and colleges attended.
Listening to boring educational talks from important people from the field..
And they bloody assigned us to do this one assignment that need us a presentation..
We divided ourselves into groups.. Not more than 3 people from same school..
Within 2 hours we had to cook out something related to this year's theme "Identity"..
Then to present for 10 minutes to all panel of judges and students. Pengsan man.

Yeah.. I know what you're trying to bombard here...
When I looked at this pix I felt like back when I was a kid..
drawing stuff on the floor during random art competition..

Some sang, some danced, some being poetic, some sketch a play, some silat.. some etc etc lar.. We were free to expose and present ourselves to anything as long as we "concept" our way to Malaysia's Building Architecture Identity in our own interpretation.
Eng (below-guy in blue) who supposed to be our group leader, kinda forced instructed me to be the "talker" for our performance. Nabeh him.

My group's tagline was, "Connecting Culture, Building Structure".
I came up with it in the nick of time.. and I do think it was a bit corny..
But anyway it was accepted by the panels.. So.. okay lor.. hahaha
This small cat suddenly ran infront of me suddenly.
Snapped this pix and came poking me after the workshop.
Cat who? This cat lar.. *click*

After our turn.. *snap*snap*snap*..
Everyone started to snap everything in front of them..
Their group works, their group friends, the hall's chandeliers.. etc etc

My group pix (above). From my right, Jasmine 2 girls away, Eng back row second.
I duno why I was standing like I'm ready to fart anytime. -_-

After the workshop, we were treated a free buffet lunch which was not tat bad..
But so many people... and the queue was horribly long.. ended up.. din't really eat much.

Went to the exhibition upstairs to look-see look-see with Eng and Tess.
Not much of exhibitors if to compare to the previous Homedec at KLCC Convention Center. But their booth were much nicer and conceptual.
Why? Best booth competition lor... If not they so hiao go crack brain & fly money meh?

Anyway, I like the entrance or should I say the "colour approach" this year..
Colourful and cheering up in a way.
The workshop stage backdrop was simple yet didn't look "empty".
Just colourful fabrics hung up accordingly nia.
Sometimes simple are really nice.. but it's not easy to be simple than complicated.

My works took up one panel. (below)
Tess's works on the left, Eng's work the black background. (way below)

Oh well, I didn't win anything.
I wasn't upset or anything negative 'cos I really din't expect to win.
And I was not that keen on joining this competition anyway..
(I'm not emo-ing saying this 'cos I din't win okay.. 'cos it's the truth. dammit)

45 students participated. Only 3 prizes.
Nevertheless, Eng won 3rd prize tied with KDU. 300 bucks.
Woohoooo... hahahah Eng won Young Talents' Competition. Age 34? Young? Hmmm.. *laughs*

Finally we walked back to Putra station and took toot-toot-train home.
I dropped off at Subang where my dad picked me up.
Snapped this pix while waiting in Carrefour Starbucks, yakking on the phone with KayuMonk.

Student = Delegate. Me Delegate for UCSI. -_- Nabeh.
Phoenix plastered the "Trade Visitor" into my tag so it would be easier to kacau the supplier. Hahhaa..

Pix of the day?

Ended with the same beginning.

Make me the Starbucks VIP??

Almost everyday I'm in Starbucks. Last week and last last week lar..
Same name Starbucks but in different location.
Sometimes even 2 Starbucks in a day. One in Subang, one in Damansara. =P
Not knowing why suddenly most of my appointments are in Starbucks.
Or.. friends wanna go Starbucks.. or it's just me craving for Starbucks.

Ooohhh.. i miss this girl. My "Miss Lame" Bernadine Lao.
Never mind. Gonna party with her like hell tomorrow night.
She can't wait.
Me neither. *laughs*

Wanna join? hehe

the "forbidden" two

The movie was okay yesterday.
Went JuscoBukitTinggi n watched The Forbidden Kingdom.
Yeah.. as mentioned.. with Alan & HuayPin.

The movie was kinda rubbish actually if it weren't for the 2 star heroes in it..
Not exactly total trash but just u need to know the history n background of each of the main characters.. if not u don't quite get it anyway..
Check out their main movie website. Cool yeh..

Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Greatttt...
A sudden twist of English and Mandarin.. then this n that... blah blahhhh
etc etc that don't quite make sense..
But to me.. I still can kinda like it.. the movie angles...
'cos I like "costume" movies.. props, legendary stuff..... *grins*
And i like that Golden Sparrow girl.. Crystal Liu.. Very very gorgeous Asian girl.
Watched her in the "Return of Condor Heroes".. very very goodddd...

Ok back to Forbidden Kingdom... Ending was quite expected actually..
hmm.. worth a watch for the 2 great kungfu heroes.
Love them both... Jackie more to the tough kind of fighting skills...
Jet Li made those moves looked so effortlessly... both so YENG... yet so wrinkled.. hahaha
Still remember those times when I watched Jet Li's Once upon a time in China.. hehhee

*

Well.. not crapping much though today.
Been sleeping the whole day. Headache.
Not feeling well. Very not well to be exact.
Heading of to bed again. Cya~

Oh... I went Starbucks again yesterday.
Had Ice Chocolate Grande. Yum.
I forgotten bout SuChing's recommendation.
Next time girl. *winks*

another 6 hours in Mid Valley

I'm in Starbucks, Mid Valley again.
It's bloody hot here.. Their compressor is down.
I think I'm gonna switch place to D'lish.

Cannot tahan.. the feeling is like sitting in a semi-hot oven..
or like dipping my skin into hot spicy chilli sauce..
*burns*

*

Oooohh.. I'm in D'lish now..
So nice feeling.. brighter and cooler and lagi comfy here..
Ok. Start doing work.

*

Tonight gonna paddington myself with Yvonne, Pin, JunWei and Alan.

We had dinner at CoDo, Mid Valley (opposite Studio R) instead. Vietnamese food.
Din't really snap anything.. Was so jammed up, damn hungry n tired..
So... just these few.. (below)

Food was okay. Not really that authentic authentic Viet food..
or maybe 'cos I'm not sure of what Viet food is all about..
Anyway, as usual, company was great.
Love my friends.

*grins*

Getting all the peace and quiet that I so needed..
Pressing my laptop keys, cracking my brain for good design..
Surfing my daily sites, chatting with my msn-mates..
*grins*

Well, well... I went out with Raymond last night.
We watched this movie "Deadly Ghost" at Jusco BukitRaja.
Some Thai ghost movie... hmm.. *doubting*
I was like desperately persuaded and begged and nagged to watch this movie with him..
I told him it looked damn eerie..but he said... just give it a try..
He longed for horror or ghost movie for quite some time d..
but his gf never wanted to watch with him..
so he moved on to force beg his best friend *points at myself* to watch with him..
DARN!!!!!

The movie sucked to the very max ok.. or mayb we are both stupid..
I don't get the storyline.. the plot just din connect..
It sucked!! the freaking ghosts were not even creepy or freaky or scary..
so fucking FAKE!!! hate it la.. seriously.. nabeh him~
He so totally regretted making this decision to watch this NABEH movie.

I'm not even bothered to put up the trailer or any links to it. 'cos it SUCKED!!!!!
don't go watch it.. don't waste ur money for it..

UGH! *digusted* KAPUIKS!!
