as design "finals" by - part 1 -

Hmmm.. enough of food posts for now.. *grins*
Don't feel like looking at those pix right at this time of the night.. errr.. or day..
Almost 2 am. Feel like dozing off d. Sort of.

Well, posted up some pix from the days before the big finals.
My final interim crit was on the 15th October..
The juniors' was a day earlier, if not mistaken...
Finally it was all over.... *wipes sweat*
Heart beats at the normal pace again.
But the feeling is like.. "suffering from hangover".. *scowls*
Though it was over, but felt like.. not so over yet...
Despite we still have to do some up-grading work before the final submission of all boards..

Sleeping hours were running off-track..
So used to working till wee hours in the morning around 5-6 am for almost a month half..
Now trying to patch my hours back.. hmmmm... not effectively working..
Feeling tired about now.. but will toss and turn and swing on bed for a few hours...
Frustrated.. before settling down to date "Mr Chow's son" in my dreams... Sigh.

Alright.. Back to the pix...
These was taken a few days before the final presentation day..
Everyone was rushing to complete their works.. especially design models..
In design studio. Was a Saturday.
Stupid school off-ed all the acond after 1pm that day.. Hot and stuffy...
But luckily it rained later... at least some slight cool wind breezing its way in..

On my final presentation day. My final year, final semester for my degree.
My class only consist of me and Eng. Lonely two. Sigh. Poor us.

Dropped by studio to kacau Tess, EeZhu and Chris..
Snapped a few of the detail model.. Scale 1:20 if not mistaken...
I salute their model-making spirits, workmanship skills, the UMpHH!!!
Their final projects = Restaurants for any cuisine of their choice.

Tiring-nya.. Will try to be a BIMBO! =P

i flowed "juices" out my nose..

Few weeks ago, I was at Subang Parade, meeting up Kwangli..
to collect the cute pigs before Mid Autumn Festival...
We sat and chit-chat.. sambil makan-makan sikit at Dessert's Bar.
There were always people in the outlet at Plaza Damas, Hartamas..
but here.. like only a table or two.. Hmm...
I like their color scheme... blood red... sexyy.. hahahaha

Anyway.. Kwangli ordered Frozen Flips..
Pancakes with a scoop of "your-choice" of ice-cream.
Pretty sight but pretty normal taste..
According to her... Haagen Daz's RumRaisin version was better...

Mine was Raspberry and Lemon Sorbet.
Not bad la.. Raspberry sorbet was way too sweet for my liking..
and the presentation was ... ugly lor..
I had sorbet before.. but never one like this.. ugly-ly scooped..
I din post up another raspberry view of this sorbet cos it was a bit disgusting..
ahhahaa.. looked like.. nvm.. hahahha
Just I wasn't satisfied with this food presentation lar...

I am sick.
I slept like 11.45pm last night..
which was the earliest night ever since months...
I was surprised myself.. hahaha..
Bad flu.. bad headache.. slight fever..

My mom was like... "Ikan bakar lagi lar....!!!"

Hehe.. Guess all these late nights and hot weather accumulated in my body heat..
Late showers lately.. cold drinks at night.. caught in rain... caused bad waterfall flu..
And me... nagging my family to go hawker-fooding with me the night before..

I specifically wanted to eat ikan bakar..
My mom complained. "I think you're pregnant.. Always craving.. and MUST eat that type!!"
I just couldn't help it.. hahaha.. no idea why lately when I'm craving for some food..
I really really need to eat it... *frowns*
if not I'll be like missing it so much... as if i'm heartbroken or i just got dumped.. hahaha

By the way, I'm not PREGGIE lor...
No one to make me.. hehehehhe

Went Bukit Tinggi Klang.. Plenty of hawkers there..
The food was all so-so only.. so no reason to specifically shout out the name..

The ikan bakar was so-so only.. Pedas.. But I was satisfied...
'cos I got to free my desperate tastebuds on it.. hehehe..
So when you got the ikan bakar as the main cast...
well, I invited lala-chean (below) as my sidekick.. hahaha..
So therefore, I fell sick. Farks.

Sigh.. the feeling sucks. As if a 200kg bear sat on my chest...
Hard to breathe..

I was hungry but didn't eat anything in the morning..
Was very drowsy and lethargic when I woke up..
Nothing to eat at home.. No appetite too..

Mom suggested.. Spinach soup??
I almost gagged.
Then she poured me this glass of red vegetable juice.
Forced it down my throat.

Told her I didn't want to have anything to eat.
Kena marah pulak..
Actually deep in I was craving for maggi mee..
'cos last nite i saw a packet of tomyam in the cabinet..
But i know mom will never allow a sick ass to eat maggi..

Evening I was better. Slightly.
Went out to fetch my sis from school.
Hehe.. stopped by KFC... bought mashed potato.. *evil grins*
to compensate my breakfast and lunch and maybe dinner..

Nyum.. Erm.. sick food right? Can right? ahhaha...
I never finished this large size before.. but I did today...
Split it into two meals lor.. For tea and supper..
HAhhahaa...

Half an hour to tonight's tutorial.
I have a big question in mind like..
why do I bother going?
'cos I already know what will happen...
what he will say and reject...
what another he will laugh and "gosok-kasut"..
what all rubbish will be tapered to my face?

So why do I still bother going??
Ohh.. cos it's compulsory..
For me to show my pretty face to get attendance...
and I'm so so so tired of sulking over night-midnight classes..
But what can I do?
I'm overpowered when 2 old men who became friends.

Because I simply HAVE to be there.

But I haven't give up on myself yet.

Alright. I'm back from tutorial.. Yup it's like 2am plus..
Tutorial ended at almost 12am.. Called KelvinJu up for late supper.
I was sooo hungry.. I skipped dinner..
Went to LaiKong Hawker Center to makan..
Was so craving for dimsum... but.. talak.. so sad..
Aiyo.. so many people at this time also... kinda happening la.. hehee..
maybe i locked myself too much at night lately d.. *sobs*

A lot of things to eat ler.. until I duno what to choose.
Don't feel like having carbs so late at night..
I ordered Chicken wings.. Yummy~~
Then I saw the HongKong Chee Cheong Fun... hehe..
1 plate too then.. all prawns..

Taste wise not bad... 2 bucks per wing. Cheaper than Klang.
but the cheongfun was horrible... *pukes*
I ate only half the plate and all the prawns... ahhaha..
Full now. Feeling like sleeping.. *yawns stretches*
but must stay up at least another half hour to at least digest a bit first before hibernating...

Not to shop but to pick my sister up..
She was still in the KTV, so me n Yvonne walked around... window-shopping for awhile..
Went into MNG.. love the new season collection...
All purple, grey and white... Lurveee purple.... Mysterious... woooO~ hehe..

The pix angles were horrible right?? Tsk tsk..
The right pix, my head was like so alienated big.. Duno what happen to me.. Sigh..
The dressing room was sooo small.. Klang hor.. sometimes just so disappointing..

I like these both. But they were like so expensive..
Kinda not worth it..
The purple dress was almost 300bucks..
I'm quite PK lately.. Haven buy my new desired phone also...
Sigh... Nevermind first la.. I still got dresses to wear.. I think...

Nothing much.. just trimmed it.. Thinking of hair dye..
But what color? Hmmm....

When my brother saw me first time after I trimmed my hair, he sarcastically shrieked,

that I dislike eating mooncakes... sweet ler.. *bleughh*
Sorry to say that peeps.. but I just cannot tahan the "too-much-filling".. =(

But anyway.. obviously they were a few exceptions la... *grins*
ChoonWee gave me this beauuutiful box of mooncakes from Chynna KL Hilton..
despite the fact he is in Australia now.. Thanks junioco ChoonWee!!~
Nice packaging.. no wonder they won the best mooncake package this year..

At times, I only like special snow skin mooncakes with unique fillings..

Few months ago...

Organic veg steamboat at Bandar Botanic, Klang.
Easily to locate when entering the main entrance, it's on ur right.
It was all started from my mom and her organic veg-seller.
That dude opened this restaurant and asked my mom to go and try.
Being a fantastic organic lover, definitely my mom go lor..
bringing us all there lagi.. hehe..

They have sets of full all-vegetable steamboat.
Lots of variety of vegetables. All organic.
You can buy fresh veg there as well.
Seriously taste better than normal steamboat. Definitely sweeter.
Side orders are typical. Normal lor...

My sister and her pirate eye. Poor her.
Duno how she rub her eye until kena infection. Sigh.

Well bout this place, normal. The difference is just organic vegetables.
Still very new, even located in a new place... so oh well...
Worth a second visit.. hehe.. actually I went there like 3 times d. *grins*

Few weeks ago...

Yvonne was supposed to meet up Berny for some freelance job.
I need them both to lend me their brains to cook up something for my finals..
since they're my super duper interior designer friends.

We met up at Chilis, MidValley.
At first we went to All Star Sports Cafe... but it was such a disappointment in their menu..
So many food cut off.. the waitress so lansi... the ambience no longer fun as last time..
So we decided to switch to Chilis.

Hmm.... a much better environment and fooood....

And my Caesar Salad.. with croutons and paramesan cheese..

It was Merdeka Eve.
Was driving around Bayu Perdana, Klang to buy lunch.
Saw this little boy struggling with his bicycle full of flags.
Gosh how patriotic right??

Look at the cars behind.. not one of them have a flag... not a single ONE..
Not even me. I never did anyway. Paiseh. *blushes*

Sometimes I wonder.. sighhh.. ok ok.. no grandmother stories.

Well well, Merdeka night I was home, rushing for my Intern report...
Deadline on Tuesday... Biskic complained I'm sooooo anti-social and boring..
That all i did lately was... stay at home, work work work and work..
How boring.. lucky i got no boyfriend.. if not boyfriend also cabut...
SO NABEH of him rite?? *sobs*

Anyway, mom made her own-recipe of fish paste.
Grinding and rolling and no-idea-what-else-she-did.. she made tons of yong tau fu..
So meaning when she did tons of them, we have to eat tons of them..
Thank god it was steamboat.. if not.. everyday eat also siao..
Anyway we did bought some other varieties that she din make..
