This was yesterday.
Was invited for lunch at Plaza Damas with everyone in office due to Boss Alan's bday.
Then was walking around, hoping to find a nice dress to buy for this "upcoming event"..
Went in to OWL, my favourite boutique in Hartamas Shopping Center.
Tried on a couple of dresses.. and then walked out without buying..
Simply 'cos I couldn't make out my mind which to buy.. and some were pretty costly..
and there was some little details that didn't quite please me at all...

This dress... sigh.. more like that kind of dress to meet your future-in-laws..
those typical cardigan-kuai-kuai kind of girl... sooo not my style... hahahaha
I like the needlework and the prints.. but i feel.. Sigh.. really not me..

Then (going down)... Eventhough it felt great on skin.. holy-soft fabric!!..
but super super nightie look... and like.. AUNTY's NIGHTIE.. *sobs*
And this piece was super EX okay..

Next.. nice wide sleeves kimono top.. but fabric slightly pricky.. hehehhe..
I forgot my tube.. so it exposed my *toot*.. so DUH.. censored la..
if not, later some ppl will popek-popek again..

I like these two... far the most..
Sorry face look like shit there.. must *censored* it also.. Totally unacceptable..
The white dress was really really reallly nice to slip on...
Couldn't stop soothing it.. comfy comfy.. but hor..
it was slightly tight over (there).. there la... can so see from the pix rite??

The grey one.. love at first sight.. and one worry at the first sight..
I showed the pix to Tess, and my first question to her was,
"Eh.. Look like kuih lapis a not?" HAhhahaHAHha..

I think I will go back next week to get one of these two..

as design "finals" by - part 1 -

Hmmm.. enough of food posts for now.. *grins*
Don't feel like looking at those pix right at this time of the night.. errr.. or day..
Almost 2 am. Feel like dozing off d. Sort of.

Well, posted up some pix from the days before the big finals.
My final interim crit was on the 15th October..
The juniors' was a day earlier, if not mistaken...
Finally it was all over.... *wipes sweat*
Heart beats at the normal pace again.
But the feeling is like.. "suffering from hangover".. *scowls*
Though it was over, but felt like.. not so over yet...
Despite we still have to do some up-grading work before the final submission of all boards..

Sleeping hours were running off-track..
So used to working till wee hours in the morning around 5-6 am for almost a month half..
Now trying to patch my hours back.. hmmmm... not effectively working..
Feeling tired about now.. but will toss and turn and swing on bed for a few hours...
Frustrated.. before settling down to date "Mr Chow's son" in my dreams... Sigh.

Alright.. Back to the pix...

Everyone was rushing to complete their works.. especially design models..
In design studio. Was a Saturday.
Stupid school off-ed all the acond after 1pm that day.. Hot and stuffy...
But luckily it rained later... at least some slight cool wind breezing its way in..

On my final presentation day. My final year, final semester for my degree.
My class only consist of me and Eng. Lonely two. Sigh. Poor us.

I salute their model-making spirits, workmanship skills, the UMpHH!!!
Their final projects = Restaurants for any cuisine of their choice.

This was 2 weeks ago.

One fine night when I was like busy preparing for my finals..
My mom popped her head into my room and giddily like.. "Hey, follow us out for a drive.."
I was like.. "Want meh??? Work can't finish la.... Where to go?"
My mom acted puzzled, "Work forever tak habis 1.. You'll die before you grad.. Quick.. get change and follow us out.. and I mean NOW!!"

Dreadfully, I followed them out.. pulling a long face...
"Get a break okay.." dad patted on my shoulder. I grimaced but nodded.
They were super hyper active in the car.. dad, mom, sis n bro talking at the same time..
then i couldn't resist and started to let go a bit.. hahhaha..

Alright... anyway the "break" my parents meant was..
to the temple nearby for Nine Emperor God celebration.. 九王爷
Located next to the Teluk Pulai KTM station... around the BahKutTeh shops area..

I never been to Ampang's..
but I heard that the one is Ampang is really... BIG... *click*
Hmm... okay back to that night...

Seriously... people mountain people sea..
That night we reached around 9pm..
the following night was around 11pm to pray..
Still so many people..
Kids.. family.. youngsters... perempuan.. lelaki.. old folks.. tons!!
So noisy and everyone in such a celebration mode.. hhaha..

Then I realised, we were there that night was because...
my siblings wanna see HAU that Project Superstar runner-up this year... (pix above)
The temple people invited him over to present a few songs...
I was surprised at first... like why would a Superstar show up in this kind of environment..

Normally the temple would like.. just get some hokkien getai.. opera.. (pix below)
those lala-muis to shake their booty onstage to start the night show...
but this time... guess they "up-a-class-a-bit".. *laughs*
there WERE a lot of young girls n dudes over there waiting for him...
ONE thing about the crowd was that.. they were all KAYU... no applause nothing...
Tsk. Just a few laughs on some cranky jokes.

When I was a kid.. I really like Malt Sugar Candy... 麦芽糖 in Chinese.. (pix above)
Cheap and holy cow sweet... A buck for 1 stick..
I don't quite fancy it now.. as I think it's way way way too sweet for my liking now..
But my brother.. a 11 year old kid.. big huge fan of it..

So... sister's wish was to see HAU that night.. so we went..
And so... my parents was... to... ahahha EAT!!!
There was this small vegetarian food fair.. yummyyy~~ (pix below)
Stalls selling varieties of vegetarian food to resemble "real" non-vege food..

LOBAK vegetarian-style..
Lots of food.. all vegetarian... I couldn't believe my eyes.. hahaha
Normally when I go to some vegan restaurant.. I don't get to see all the food at once..
All on menu and food list.. but then.. I managed to see most of it all lying on the table..
Wahaha.. so kancheong... and was very bising, kept kacau-ing the taukeh-soh..
what's this? what's that? made of what what what? how?? hahaha

"chicken" drumstick.. "chicken" sate.. "pork" sate..

Crispy "prawn" fritters.. "pork" sausages..
Hmmm.... Looks a bit dark hor~

Yam lobak roll, Seaweed "fish" roll..
The aunty lagi said.. that "fish" is ikan parang k.. very nice 1!~~

Fried radish cake and fried tofu square

The far on the right was the "prawn" rolls...
And other "meat" rolls and cocktails..

Fried Seaweed "Normal Fish" ..
Fried "Pork" and CharSiew..
and many many more other choices..

And and... *excites*

Above was what mom bought and my Soya Cincau drink for a buck only!!! refreshing~ hehe..
There were few more other vegan stalls...
Like Hokkien Mee Mihun Kuey Teow stalls, Yao Char Kuay, drinks, desserts..
Well well.. other than food.. there were stalls selling flowers, plants..
Giving off free vcd and booklets on prayers, god-themed movies, ribbons, strings.. etc..

A nice walk back to the car..
It was pretty breezy that night..

Yay!! Balik makan lobak the vegan style!!~~

I am tired.
Very tired. Mentally, physically and spiritually.
Getting tired of facing this piece of metal every hour of the day.
Bad sleeping hours from 6am to 11am everyday.
Never-ending work.

I really kinda feeling very fed-up bout it..
Today is one of those days that I went very temperamental.. (to myself, btw)
I got so restless and stuck-in the "give-up" mode.

Suddenly I started complaining bout everything...
Everything that I have been working hard on the last few months..
suddenly everything just don't seem right..
suddenly all the flaws just bloody appeared in front of me..
suddenly everything was neither here nor there..
oh-f&rk-me... is this fear arising?

My best friend is Sarah McLachlan with her "Angel". *click*
Every night she will sing to me, washing out my "heavy" feel.
I'll be calling Martina McBride tonight to be here for me with her "Concrete Angel". *click*



No. I'm not having my period.

I can't wait for all these to be over.

I can't do work at home cos there are too many distractions..
