another "kind" of shopping

Went furniture shopping in PJ-Damansara area with Bernadine today.
For these few show-house projects that we're working on right now.

I was early.
While waiting for her to pick me up from TheCurve, i went to powder my nose and "wee-wee" laaa DUH!! then camwhore a bit lor.. *giggles*
'cos I was wearing my new heels (from Bangsar that day)..
and nobody was in the loo.. so... ermm... hehehe..
(pix of it next post.. soon soon)

gimme a break la.. i'm quite short n fleshy la.. i know ok.. *grumbles*

*

Well well... a few shops were nice.. some were quite horribly cina-pek.
Sales are on now.. due to the F1 race thingy.. till end of this month..
So quite a number of nice furnitures or upholster or anything lar.. were quite cheap and reasonable..

I really quite like the JIA in Damansara Perdana though their stuff were quite slightly higher. 3 storey showhouse with a wide range of deco styles n furnitures..
Their chairs.. nice nice.. especially those "plasticky" expensive kind which are quite IN now..

Would you like spend 1 grand plus for a piece of chair? A nicely designed chair??
Not those few twenty or thirty designer chair lar.. got a lot of replica nowadays.
The cheapest I saw today was 450bucks per chair. *gasps*

Buying a new house ain't easy 'cos it's fucking expensive.
Renovating n refurbish the house is even WORST.
(if u really want nice things lar, who doesn't?? then hav spend money lar~!)

Fella Design (above) You'll see it on your left before you reach Eastin.
Their French Classic-Modern stuff are pretty neat.. but pricey la.. DUH!

Homelife and a few more along Old Klang Road were ok lar..
Of all furniture that I've look-see-look-see today.. i love the most is.. this (below)..

Kids' bedroom set. SOooooo cute....
The living set.. hehehe.. told Berny.. *laughs*
"Next time, li'l Michelle sit here.. li'l Yvonne sit there and li'l Berny sit another side sipping tea n gossiping.."
hahaha... got single, double and 3-seater samo..
They have in other colours and.. in flowery patterns too..
Those colourful "palm-couch" are quite comfy though they're not that pleasant looking for me.. hehe..

And what I HATE most is..

No offense to the designer lar..
mayb he/she thought it will be cool that the middle long thingy that popped out to the top is actually a lightbulb thingy. For you to switch it on if u'r so-called reading n resting on it.. bleh.. Sorry I boh SUKA.. see also won't go lie on it..
I mean.. EIU.. the whole thing just look.. EIU!!!! *gags*
EH not cheap ok!!

A few more shops then we hit The Curve.
Lunch at almost 3pm. Bounced into Secret Recipe.

My Oreo Milkshake.
Sweet nehhh.. too sweet.. Should have ordered chocolate..

(above) My Thai Fried Rice c/w TomYam Kung.
(below) Berny's Dory Fish with Lobster sauce.

Went Harvey's.. then walk walk walk again.. Really "people-mountain-people-sea".
till we spotted FLOWERSSS...

Pink roses, white n hot pink daisies. 80bucks.

This bouquet is really really nice.. Nice colour combination and wrappings..
That purple-ly white flowers were something we don't see everyday..
I mean at least not me.. so we just asked the florist..

She said, "Named Carnation Spray.. 3-3.50 per stalk"

WOw.. Not bad huh.. A dozen of red roses and carnation spray as side kicks..
Whole bouquet for 80 bucks.

Ms Bernadine Lao. hehe. Couldn't help it~ *grins*

Girls who cakap that they don't like flowers.. bla bla bla right??... FAKERS!!!
Flowers always does the trick.. ALWAYS.. how also sure "touch" a bit 1..
I'm talking bout bouquet(s) ok.. not one-sick-sad-wrapped-up-stalk..
Depending on how big, how many, how nice, how matching n etc etc etc..
and whether YOU as a GUY can get to dig her favourite flowers out, chucked some creativity in, throw your magic-love-dust a bit to sweep her off her feet or not.. *winks*

Red roses are my "common" favourite..
Unable to find another flower that match that FULL PASSION level of red roses.
one unwrapped long stalk of red rose also lift me up a bit.. a bit lar!! hahaha..

At the end of the day... stupid new heel and too much walking caused this!!!

SIBEH BIG BLISTER LOR!!! *pains*
not dare to burst the bubble me.. hehehhe
OK lar.. gonna ebay some things.. *waves bye-bye*

oh yea.. did i mention....?

I bought another pair of heels today?

-_-" Oopss..

Nite. xoxo

first step into excessive indulgence(s)

I went facial today. Appointment at 10am.
(pssstt.. woke up so early on a Saturday to do face.. first time mannn...)

Recommended by my mom's friend's daughter's sister-in-law.. *grins*
Those home-aunty-kind (which I never trusted n never interested) but with the same products as some big spas.
75 bucks c/w shoulder+back massage.
I finally agreed to go 'cos my sister went yesterday to get her pimples all "flattened" and both mom n her, said that it was worth it, good service n etc etc etc..
Fine then.. just try lor.

The lady was very nice, but really UGH ooOohHH AAwwH OUCHHHh..
*painful sial*

She picit, pressed, squeezed all my "black heads" out..
SAKIT to the max lor... especially around the T-zone...
super sensitive... tears welled up and flowed uncontrollably.. gosh man...

I was like so cursing my ass out inside.. like freaking yelling to the inner me...
Don't understand how women can tahan the pain while giving birth..
when i almost can't tahan this pain.. *struggles*
and thank god.. i've got no pimples and never have pimple problems..
but just freckles instead... tiny brown spots..
Well, she said partially for some people, freckles are in the GENES.
My mom did have.. like quite a lot... heheh.. NO WONDER.

BUT she soothed every hatred in me with a hydrating+moisturizing cooling mask.
After that.. fuiyohhhhh.. i damn "song" lorrrr... and fell asleep with my mouth opened slightly.. *blushes*

Let's see..
All the picit, then exfoliate, face+head+shoulder massage, then mask + back massage..
75 bucks not that expensive u know..
Mom went for facial at this Spa Amante at Bukit Tinggi, Klang sometime last month..
150bucks
just for facial..
hmm...

Anyway.. so this might be my monthly "treat-for-myself".. hehehe..

Oopss.. phone ringing.. gtg.

too much food in a day..

Ok okay.. this post is alllll about FOOD!!!!
that I had in ONE day... hahaha... yesterday lor..
Super food.. Reasonable price and fabulicious.... *licks*

I don't take breakfast.. so...

afternoon = lunch

This steamed-fish-head little "restaurant" near my school, Cheras.
Heard it was pretty famous wor.. It was my second time here.
Quite full every lunch when we were there, or we passed there.. or we parked our car nearby.. always full though the "restaurant" is quite a small shabby one.

UCSI, Cheras has a new campus which is the previous Wisma FIT, Taynton area..
Before the main entrance of this new campus which is on your left, there's a small lorong on ur right.. just turn in and you'll see cars parked behind that row of houses..
On your left.. u'll see this little pondok-kinda-feel restaurant.. hehehe..
(me kinda bad in giving directions, hor?)
Anyway.. you won't be able to see this restaurant from the main road.. it's like surrounded and hidden by all the backlanes.. *grins*

Let's see.. It was almost 1pm. Break for lunch. Tutorial at 2pm.
Me, Tess, TengWai, ZiuHong, Sinyi and Eng.
6 of us hunting for a good lunch.

(above) Eventually I'm not sure this dish in English.
Some bean-sauce.. I guess.. *blushes*
(below) A simple garlic steamed fish-head.

(way above) We definitely need "GREEN-LEAVES" on our table. *grins*
(above) Their special fried seafood tofu.
(below) Stewed Pork. I din't makan this.

Anyway, overall food was okay. Not bad.
But that old uncle whom we ordered from.. don't really estimate the helpings..
Only 6 of us. Bloody 2 halves of 1 HUGE fish-head.
When he intro, we thought it might be 2 smaller fish-head since only a few of us and with other side-dishes as well.
We ate and ate until we were like fully bloated. I din't even finished my rice.
Din't know fish can be that filling.. and satisfying.. hehehe..

Bill came up to 75bucks.
Cheap yeh?? *thumbs up*

*

Real funky short if I really go style it up... That Roger.. Sighh..

Anyway.. long day today..
I was rushing my site analysis video deadlines that I slept at 5.30am this morning..
Woke up like around 8.30am to attend class by 9.30am..
which obviously I was late.. couldn't wake up..
and well, I was "betrayed" that my presentation this morning..
BUT was postponed till next week.. Sheeshhh..

Reached class at 10.10am.. and left by 10.50am..
WHERE TO GO???
I wasn't really sleepy that time.. somehow I was HYPER..
All my friends are either working or still sleeping.. *grunts*

I went MidValley for a short shopping-crawl but end up empty-handed.
Then met up with HuayPin at SunwayPyramid for lunch..
Went Cats Whiskers at Subang but nothing much to get..
Then came back Klang, met up with Raymond for a short tea-break..
and hit the nails' parlor at BBK to do my manicure n pedicure..

Cheap. (compared to others la)
Manicure - 28 bucks.
Pedicure - 38 bucks.

I like it. Their service goooddd... Small parlor but comfy.
Felt so pampered. Sitting like a queen which they "serviced" my nails and toenails.

I'm very tired today.
Just back from a good great superb dinner with Yvonne,Alan&HuayPin just now..
Had Korean BBQ at Desa Sri .. sibeh nice.. pix will be uploaded once I get from Yvonne.

My friend was like asking me yesterday..
"what happen to ur gila-gila-emo-crappy-dramatic-blog??
where have all the F-F words gone??
Nowadays I read ur blog ALL food only.. turned Food Blogger u??
I want your unexpected tantrums!! I want ur gila-ness back.."

I was like only giggling like a dumb airhead there.. 'cos I seriously duno how to answer her..
I just stressed on a few "points" to her.. which were..
1. I blogged bout food 'cos my life is not everyday exciting.. but i eat everyday..
2. I'm not a professional food blogger.. hahaha not certified..
I don't do it the right way professional food bloggers do.
3. I'm getting old to throw that much tantrums.. hahahahhaha sabarrrr~~~

Her reply, *silence* "You dumb bitch."
HHAhahahha.. hilarous.
She boh song that I no longer teman her complain about how life sucks together.

So again.. i'm damn sleepy n tired today.. but i just feel like blogging..
over some RANDOM things.. like....

*

Want to know bout more me indirectly??
Most of the things "predicted" were quite true.. i mean very true.. *grins*

My date of birth. 5 September.
Phoenix sent me a webpage of this date of birth thingy..
out of boredom and blues.. i just went clicked clicked and ALL CHINESE..
So went to Babelvista to translate into English.. and something like below popped out..

I just put the keyphrases la.. if not very long..

- urge to pursue the dreams and fulfill it.
- they use lively also to be keen mental construct the richest imagination and the most romantic dream, moreover also extremely has the ability to let the dream put to the realization.
- frequently embraces the extremely impractical standard, favors to excessively boasted with indulges.
- when they bump into the question which most is not willing to face, can appear specially sad and is worried.
- (I'm not 夠 good) destiny main key repeatedly September 5 person in the life.
- they practice habitually use the way which one kind oneself frustrates unceasingly to deny oneself, also can succumb to in the intense self- center, or forgets kindnesses in own world.
- When they have been far away the romantic image, the people are very difficult the person which actually imagines them to be able to turn any type, perhaps links they also to be unable to imagine.
- Is born to this day person if wants in the psychology and the spiritual level on a yet higher goal, the most important task on wants the energy region to branch out the fantasy and the reality.
- often to give others the critical suggestions...

So cut everything real short.
- Merit points - Has the imagination, romantically, is interesting.
- Not so merit points - Shortcoming Self-destruction, deficient determination, extreme.

*gasps* The TREE MAN...
freaking scary right???? I came across this blog page online just now..
I thought it was some circus performer or some nickname for some dude.. etc etc..
Mana tau.. it's fooking reallll... *clutches myself*
I mean.. loookkkk loookk at the fingers and all..
I felt scared and sorry for him at the same time.

The story was..
32+ year old Dede lives in a remote village in Indonesia with his two children, trying to care for them. Dede, a former fisherman, has an extraordinary skin condition: he has root like structures growing out of his body - branches that can grow up to 5cm a year and which protrude from his hands and feet, and welts covering his whole body.

He is known locally as ‘Tree Man" and his condition has baffled local doctors for 20 years. In an attempt to earn a living to support his family, he is part of a circus troupe, displaying his Tree Man limbs along with others afflicted with skin deformities in ‘freak’ shows.

Check out the vid here.. *sobs*..

Sad case right?? Tsk tsk.. seriously.. what kind of human also got in this world..
sighhh.. my heart totally went all out for this poor guy..

sunday's always "stuffed" with food..

Another typical Sunday...
Planned to makan dimsum at first.. but stupid brother suddenly craving for BKT..
YES.. AGAIN!!! *ugh* i miss my harkau...

This time around.. we went to Pandamaran Klang for that stewed pork again.
The previous posting on stewed pork is *here*
Dad likes it more than BKT b'cos mom don't really let us makan the BKT sizzling ones..
All her health-conscious lectures and scary consequences blared out like HITZ.fm.
Around 10.20am only.. but the food almost finishing.. sibeh kin..

(above) Tasted like PLAIN white rice with just lil' bit of piggie's oil aroma.
(below) They do serve "Da Chai Fan".. mandarin translated
something like Vegetable Rice..

(above) Typical BKT taste.. with no pork.. just the "liao"
(below) Stewed pork intestines... super yummy.. like it like it.

The main star (again) Stewed Pork "Big Bone".. hahaha
Straight translation from Hokkien.. "Tua KUT"..

Well.. this meal was much cheaper than the previous visit to Meru's *here*
Taste wise.. hmm.. let me put it this way.. *grins*
the taste here... is more "kampung" style.. like how ur grandma can cook type..
for the one in Meru.. is kinda "commercialised"..
Conclusion.. both uniqueness deserves a good call for a full breakfast. your choice!!

Went Jusco Bukit Tinggi after breakfast..
Me for window-shopping.. Mom and sis for real-cash-spend-shopping..
Dad and bro??? Junkfood-hunting again.. hehehe
Din buy anything.. empty-handed.
I was and still AM looking for a pair of red heels.. but tak dapat cari lar..
And i skipped lunch for a chocolate ice-cream.. heheh..

Mom, dad n bro went crop hair..
Me n sis stayed home to be maid..
Dinner was on me again..

Tired + lazy + nothing-at-home-to-cook + sleepy me..
just dug out chilli tuna, french beans, onions for a simple spaghetti toss tonight.
Half hour KAU-TIM..

Loads to do for assignment tonight. *
TOodless.... and a big fat *mwah****

flowers + water = ???

Well, well... tea anyone??? *slurps*

Dad n mom love drinking tea.. 'cos they don't take coffee or milk.. or.. anything sweet..
but u know.. ages climbing up.. caffeine is a no-no for them..
normally, they just like stuff that don't taste nice to me... *giggles then gags*
almond.. walnut "juice", oats, soya and anything healthy la..
Super duper health-conscious!! *whines*
Make drink caffeine beverage by 6pm.. she'll turned into a zombie by night..

Frequent trips to the organic shops, mom started to pick up on flowers..
She's so nosy sometimes..
that she bought this "necklace" thingy made out of some stone or something..
i'm not so clear of that though..
Well, to test if the things she is going to buy, are genuinely organic a not..

OK ok.. back to the tea.. they're all organically proven..
No caffeine.. no nothing dangerous to health.. i think.. hehe..
So everynight.. almost everynight.. 1 or 2 glasses of hot flower tea..
NICE TO SLEEP WEYYyy... or mayb i'm too tired lately..
it won't have that bitter taste at the end of ur throat..
like when u drink pu-er or other chinese tea..
very refreshing and relaxing.. NO LIE U OK!!

Flowers are like.. ermm..
roses, jasmines, carnations, sometimes lavender, passion plum,
and some leaves that I've got no clue at all bout their names..
mom told me in chinese what hua hua, yeh, yeh.. hahahah...
I guess.. some are like citrus, darjeeling... maybe?
Each flower brings own "definition"..
like.. good for this.. good for that.. good for etc etc etc..

A light yellow aromatic "water".. works well either HOT or iced..
You can mix it all together.. or just by "singles".. hehe get it?

I love flower tea.
Kinda stopped on coffee though i was a black coffee maniac years ago..
nowadays.. heart pumped damn fast whenever I have coffee.. *scared*
I always order mint tea.. if not.. blackcurrant tea..
if not... just plain iced H2O pls..

p/s: Mom so freaking happy 'cos pretty Yvonne bought back like sooo many pretty nice red rose tea for her from Taiwan.. Genuine and authentic. *jumps up and down* I mean she.. not me.

Imagine

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

"lelaki-lelaki belakang lorong"

BackStreet Boys' concert tonight!!!!
The tickets were like in my hands.....!!!!!!
Berny and Brenda going with their friends..
So I helped them to get cheaper tickets from HuayPin.

Looking at the tickets.. should I get one for myself to join in the fun???
Heart was willing.. but flesh wasn't..
Somehow not interested... not THAT interested with BackStreet "Boys" anymore..
Love their classic songs.. but somehow not that kind of band that I want to go concert for..
Even if I go, I'll probably enjoy the yelling, cheering and gila-ness among the crowd.. hehe
But got tempted so badly when so many people trying their luck to win tickets from radio,
my friends all goin gugu-gaga over it.. asking me along n stuff..
Oh darn..

But end up.. didn't lar for sure..
If not.. u think I'm so free sitting here n blogging bout this????

But it should be a good way to de-stress right??
Oh well.. Shut up. I din't go. So stop asking questions to myself.
Dumb.

XOXOXO
